Monarch Midwives NARM Scholarship

The Monarch Midwives NARM Scholarship exists to remove financial barriers for aspiring midwives on the final step of their certification journey.

Becoming a licensed midwife requires significant financial investment. Exam fees, travel costs, testing appointments, and administrative requirements can create obstacles for otherwise qualified midwives, especially those committed to serving underserved communities.

This scholarship helps ensure that financial hardship does not prevent skilled midwives from entering the workforce.

Why This Scholarship Matters

Monarch Midwives is dedicated to increasing midwifery access to underserved communities by removing barriers to midwifery education.

Many aspiring midwives complete their training but struggle to afford the final certification process required to practice legally. By supporting candidates at this critical transition point, this scholarship directly increases the number of practicing midwives serving:

  • rural communities

  • marginalized communities

  • LGBTQ+ communities

  • migrant communities

This program strengthens the midwifery workforce where it is needed most.
